Class Descriptions
Hatha yoga is for all skill levels. Practice classical yogic postures and breathing techniques.
You are guided to find your edge (that place where you are experiencing intensity
without pain) and gently open from that point. Focus on breath and alignment for
maximum energy and relaxation. Modifications will be offered. Explore and observe
your physical (annamaya kosha), energetic - pranic (pranamaya kosha),
mental - emotional (manomaya kosha), intellectual (vijnanamaya kosha)
and spiritual (anandamaya kosha) self.
Take a vacation - go inside and ......just be...........
Ashtanga/Power Yoga - This practice includes a flowing series of postures beginning with
sun salutations. Using a deep full breath and focused awareness, you will develop strength,
flexibility and balance. A basic knowledge of yoga postures will be helpful.
This is a vigorous, refreshing, energizing class. Come and enjoy.
*Do not eat 2 hours before class and wear loose comfortable clothing
Yoga mats and props are supplied however you are welcome to bring your own if you like
